Last podcast episode of 2011! This month I started out with a great mix of some techno and then took a turn down the progressive house path. I think everyone will enjoy it as much as I had fun mixing these great new tracks that I have really been into this month! That’s it for this year, I hope everyone has a great Christmas and New Years. Next year is gonna be big! I’ve got two or three remixes coming out in the beginning of the year and two releases, a remix EP and a full artist album. Check out the mix and see you all next year!

This month I have a great mix of some killer new tracks. Starting off with a tune from Next Dimension Music’s Nicko Vee EP, “Sentiment of Colors” from back in 2008, it sets the mood for a deep and fun mix. Then we have a bunch of exclusive tracks that will be out in the next few months from Joel Armstrong, Netzik, and Michael Montez. Picking up the vibe of the mix is Deep Dementure’s remix of my track “Whatevz” which is still available as a free download. Followed by a bunch of great killer tech house and progressive house tracks. I hope you enjoy it!

Deeflash – The Waiting Game (Original Mix) [MK837]
Yesterday marked the release of Jeremy Kadinger’s “My Name Is House” along with my remix. I enjoyed taking Jeremy’s samples and creating a dark and raw tech house track that has a bit of an 80′s acid house feel. It’s available now on all music download stores including iTunes, Beatport, and JunoDownload.
“Bro, You nailed it better than you realize. My original is a throw back to classic 80′s house and your mix has an 80′s acid house flavor to it. Love it.” – Jeremy Kadinger
After a couple months break, I’m back with a killer mix! This summer in New York has been a very hot one and this mix is no different, plenty of tech house burners, some sick techno, and even a few throwbacks! I hope you enjoy the mix as much as I enjoyed making it!

I’ve just finished up my custom scripts for using the Novation RemoteSL MKII with Ableton Live. You can check them out here.
The setup is similar to the scripts that ship with Live, the big change I made was changing the top row of buttons to “Track Select” buttons. The bigger change is that these scripts were rewritten using the Ableton Live Framework which allows for them to be expanded to do a lot more cool stuff including using the RemoteSL MKII with Max For Live devices.
The scripts are very basic in what they do right now, they work for my live setup which was why I had initially created them but I hope to add little new features from time to time.
So check them out, let me know what you think or if you have an problems getting them to work. I’ve only been able to test them on my setup which is a Windows PC running Live 8.2.2 and a RemoteSL MKII.

This month I’m doing something a little different. Instead of a DJ set, this is a recording of my Live PA set, it’s similar to the set I performed at Fringe Fellowship last week.
I have been experimenting lately with doing more live performances, building my tracks up live, and have been getting a lot of fun results. It’s always cool when you can tweak a track live and rearrange it. I’ve been working on a few different projects for my live setup and will post more information on it when it is ready for posting.
